Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum!

For those who use a CPAP machine, how long did it take before it started feeling comfortable? Was there anything that made the adjustment easier during the first few weeks?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks!

For me, it was switching to having the hose come from the top of my head. But after almost two year I am still adjusting. I can say I have more good nights than bad, but I am not “there” yet.

About 3 weeks for me. First few nights were terrible. Then it got gradually better. Key things: get the right mask, use the ramp setting, and be patient. Your brain needs time to accept that you’re not actually suffocating. Stick with it. It’s worth it
