Wanting to know if this is the way to connect or ask questions of Doctors and staff

Is this the place to converse with Doctors and Staff?

Hi Frank, Thanks for your question! While this isn’t a place to receive direct medical advice or specific treatment recommendations from doctors, our goal here is to help however we can by providing general information, answering questions about sleep health, and sharing resources that might point you in the right direction.

If you have a specific question about a product, process, or general sleep-related concern, please feel free to post it here. Our community is made up of people from all walks of life, and we’ll do our best to offer support, share experiences, and provide guidance based on general knowledge. For anything that involves diagnosis, treatment plans, or changes to your medical care, it’s always best to connect directly with your healthcare provider for a more tailored approach.

We’re glad you’re here, and we hope this community can be a helpful and encouraging space :blue_heart:

Glei,

I am confused. I thought Dr Morse said there was a message line so we could send messages directly to each other, which he wanted me to do. I have a message site with PAMF where I can send and get messages form any of the different doctors I see. And thought from what he said, Sleep Doctor has something similar.

I am still having difficulty knowing how to message Dr Morse as he asked.
Thanks, Frank Dickinson

Hi Frank,

I don’t think this forum is where your doctor sent you. This forum isn’t managed by MDs or medical professionals. I’m a certified sleep coach, but any medical questions should be directed to your doctor through their office.

Sorry we can’t be of more help.

Logan

Hi @Frank_Dickinson,

Welcome! This forum is mainly a community space where members share their experiences, ask questions, and support each other. The doctors and staff themselves usually don’t answer posts directly here.

If you’d like to connect with medical staff, the best way is to use the official contact channels (such as the clinic/hospital’s website, patient portal, or phone line). But if you’re looking for advice, shared experiences, or guidance from people who’ve gone through similar situations, then you’re definitely in the right place.

So yes—you can ask questions here, but just keep in mind that replies will come from other members, not official medical staff.
