Best Sunrise Alarm Clock for Heavy Sleepers, Expert Recommendations To Choose

I researched the best sunrise alarm clock to find the perfect option for heavy sleepers who struggle to wake up on time. After reading expert reviews from trusted sources like the new york times, techradar and sleep foundation, two models consistently stand out as top recommendations:

However, I am having trouble deciding which one would better suit my needs. I care about how effective the sunrise feature is for heavy sleepers, ease of use, customization options and overall reliability. Smart features are nice, but not at the cost of a strong wake-up effect.

Has anyone tried either of these? Which one would you recommend? Any advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You are at right place @Moni . I have used both style alarms and for a heavy sleeper I’d lean toward the Hatch Restore 3. The sunrise feels gradual, but what helped me most was pairing the light with stronger wake sounds and custom routines. It was much harder for me to sleep through than a basic wake light.

That setup made a real difference for me, especially with consistency and ease of use. The Philips SmartSleep Wake-Up Light is solid, but if waking heavy sleepers is the main goal, I’d choose Hatch. It felt stronger, more customizable, and overall more effective in daily use. I strongly recommend you the hatch restore 3 sunrise alarm clock. Thanks!
