Help I have a serious OVERBITE and my cpap isn't working out for me?

Please direct me to?; any help? I have a serious overbite. and no bottom teeth! I am 74 yr old. I need to tape my mouth shut. My mouth opens when I sleep; the air goes down my throat and triggers asthmas attacks. I have made an appt for sleep Dr which is 6 months away. So far away :frowning: I am scared as I have very low oxygen :frowning: when I sleep?? below 80! The only way is to have a Full face mask which I do have and to tape my mouth. I get so much resistance when I merely speak about mouth tapping? Can anyone please help; I am desperate waking up with a pounding heart gasping for air :sob:

I hope you get some relief soon. Not getting enough oxygen can affect you in so many ways. In my own experience I struggled to find the correct mask and finally had success with a nasal mask and mouth tape. I have had no ill effects from the tape at all. Good luck to you.
