Setting the humidity

When I set the humidity at 4 I end up with a dry mouth, but when I set the humidity at a higher level, I constantly get a ‘gurgling’ sound when I breathe–my wife is not impressed. Any suggestions?

Gurgling means there is too much condensation in the tube. There a few things you can try.

  1. Use a heated tube to stop moisture build up
  2. Keep your CPAP machine lower than your bed to help drainage
  3. A cold room plus high humidity can cause an increase in condensation in the tube. (if you can, raise the room temperature slightly)
  4. Try enabling climate control or auto humidity to balance temperature and humidity.
