Does Magnesium work?

I’ve been struggling to fall asleep quickly and am considering taking a supplement to help. Does anyone have experience with Magnesium, and how does it compare to melatonin? How long do these supplements typically take to become effective, and is it safe to use them nightly over an extended period?

Yes but you can easily take too much and the side effects are bad.

I used nbpure MagO7 and wound up with extremely itchy arms and legs. To the point I couldn’t sleep.

I would only try it again under doctors supervision.
